Sgraffito Hanging Planter Workshop. 30th May 1pm-3:30pm

Give your plants a home they’ll love! Create and decorate your own hanging planter with your own sgraffito design with guidance from our tutor Gwin.

Sgraffito is a traditional technique that means ‘to scratch’. You will use templates and formers to build your hanger and after applying a layer of coloured slip ‘scratch’ through the coloured layer to reveal the clay underneath. Design your own imagery/pattern or use our resources and templates.

This listing is for the morning session – running from 1pm - 3:30pm on the 30th May

This workshop is suitable for all levels, including beginners.

All materials included.

Your hangers will need to be left at the studio for firing and will be available to collect approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the session.
